この拡張セットは、大いなるヘラス平原および、海洋タイルを配置できる南極が含まれる「ヘラス」と、
太陽系最高峰のオリンポス山からエリシウム山までを含む裏面「エリシウム」の、両面仕様の拡張地図です。
これら拡張地図は、どちらの面であっても、基本セットのゲーム盤と差し替えて使用することができます。
どちらも火星の未知なる面に焦点を当てたもので、
配置ボーナスや海洋予定地の構成が変更され、称号と褒賞は完全に差し替わっています。
いざ、『テラフォーミング・マーズ』の新たなる地域と戦略に挑みましょう。
